New DIMMU BORGIR Album Available For Streaming On MP3.COM
April 17, 2007In an exclusive partnership between Nuclear Blast Records and MP3.com, DIMMU BORGIR's latest studio album, "In Sorte Diaboli", is available for streaming in its entirety for seven days prior to the album's North American street date of April 24 at this location.
"In Sorte Diaboli" will be available for streaming between April 17 and April 23, 2007. Fans are encouraged to sign up for a free MP3.com account and participate in the "Press Pass: Your Take" function to write their own review.
DIMMU BORGIR's video for the song "The Serpentine Offering" is available for viewing at YouTube. The clip was shot by Swedish director Patric Ullaeus (LACUNA COIL, KAMELOT) of Revolver Film Company AB and is the group's first promotional video for "In Sorte Diaboli".
The North American version of the "The Serpentine Offering" single is available for digital download at iTunes.com and includes the following three songs: "The Serpentine Offering", "The Serpentine Offering" (video edit),and an instrumental version of "The Heretic Hammer" as an exclusive track.
Artwork for "In Sorte Diaboli" has been banned by retailers. Slipcover artwork can be viewed at this location.
The first concept album in DIMMU BORGIR's history, "In Sorte Diaboli" is set in medieval Europe. A short synopsis of the story and its characters will accompany the lyrics in the CD booklet.
"In Sorte Diaboli" was mixed at Studio Fredman by producers Fredrik Nordström and Patrik J. Sten. DIMMU BORGIR recorded the effort with the following lineup:
